Hey there Campers;
Talk about a hot day in GA.
It is sizzling. Traffic was crazy as we were coming into Atlanta. A big rig had
a nasty accident. The truck was in parts. We prayed the driver was going to be
ok. Rolling into Atlanta is always an experience. The traffic is getting to be
just as bad as LA/SF. We inched our way through. The skyline is very beautiful
and the intricacy of the building has always been a wonder. It was interesting to
see the big company names. Of course GA is big on the colleges. There are over
32 colleges just in Atlanta. These
schools represent 80,494 or more students (full-time and part-time), a combined
student body equivalent to 79,524 full-time students, and a reported 21,793
dorm rooms. GA
State is the biggest in ATL. Go Panthers.!!
We rolled into Florida early evening at stated at our Walmart hotel in
Lake City.
On
Sabbath, we got up and started rolling again. Our destination is Orlando. It
was amazing to see the hurricane/tornado alarm. That is something we do not see
in Cally. We got to the Outdoor Resort where we will stay for our Disney
adventure. We drove to Trent & Kelly Schwartz where Sharelle & Alex was
staying. The girls were very happy to see their parents. Yep partners, when you
are just as happy to see their parents you know you have had an adventure.
Would I take them on another trip?? You betcha. Did I put my 5,4,3,2,1 into
play? You betcha. The most enjoyable time was seeing them learning about
history and just being with them.
OK!!!
This Florida Turnpike is just unreal. $.50 here, $1.75 there. So we are paying
to use the highway? They should not even talk about our bridge fees. Soooo...
We found out we could purchase a SUNPASS. (Think Fastrack) We did at the
Publix. (Think Safeway.) Well FL. Get into the 21st Century. You say go online
to activate. NOT. It would not let you finish putting in the info to activate.
I tried, Alex tried and Trent tried and he lives here. Ok try again in the
morning. We hit all those tolls on the way back to the Hilton4. Bummer
While
at Trent & Kelly’s it thundered and stormed like crazy so the kids could
not go into the pool. Even the dogs wouldn’t go outside. Florida rain storms
are no joke.
Well Campers, until next time.

& Bren
...I do find that other states and cities are certainly not as internet ready as Cali is... it drives me nuts.
