Hey there Campers,
We started the day off at the Disney Hollywood Studios. This theme park has the current movies Disney has or is producing . The first parade of the day was from Star Wars and the Storm Troopers. As most old Star War fans know Storm Troopers are the dreaded enemies. But dannnng…. They were impressive. We went to ride the Star Launch ride. We were all able to ride this. E was very happy. K and Alex love playing around on the Jedi rocket.
We journeyed on to Toy
Mania. It was so good and the line was short we immediately got in line and
rode it again. Trust me that is a rarity to do this. When we came out the
second time the line was already a 30 min wait. Whewwww ….just in time.
Since we were already in
the toy area we saw Buzz Light Year and Woody from Toy Story. K & E really
wanted those autographs. Sooooo, we stood in line for 45 mins to get them. Ok
the things we do for the grandkids. There were props for the kids to take
pictures with. The funniest one was E strapped herself to the rocket blaster so
it look like she was ready to take off.
Did you know the Disney theme parks have over 50 of those penny machines? K & E was trying fine every one of them.
On our way to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster we saw more Storm Troopers, Rae, Chewbacca from Star Wars. I really have to admire those people in those costumes. It was hot as “hell” and they acting like it was no big deal. Sure hope they get paid BIG BUCKS. Sorry E. She is too short to ride this coaster.
One part of the theme park is decked out like Hollywood in the 1920’s. Shows are put on all through the day.
The girls decided they just needed to rest and kick
back for a while. It was great because it was ice cream time. You know Poppy.
He will find that ice cream.
We left the park early because
we met up Keila, (yep a PHSDA member who lives in FL now) Trent and Kelly for
the Incredible 2 movie. The movie was great. It only took 14 years between first
movie. It was worth the wait.
Coming home of course it
stormed. I guess we have just got to get use to this weather.
Well Campers, until next time.
Lo
& Bren
Ah, Trent! I forgot he lived in Florida now!
ReplyDeleteHow much is it killing me that E is STILL wearing those boots??? It's like, 900 degrees in the shade, and she still isn't bothered?? That's some dedication there... or sheer stubbornness...
She LOVES THOSE BOOTS! She loves boots in general!
