Hey there Campers,
What a great day for an Disney
adventure. We started the day by meeting with Sharelle, Alex & the girls.
They stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village. Outside of their room
looked like an African Safari. They had giraffes, tortoise, wildebeest, etc. It
brought back thoughts of our Kenya trip last year. The lobby was decorated like
an African village. We got on the Disney bus to Epcot. There was so much to do.
We started with the Innoventions area. K got picked to try a exercise on
holding weights and pulling in and out that made you spin faster. We went into
the science area and she got picked again to demonstrate how not to crunch a
cup. We had paint brushes that we put in cans of color. We then took it to the
screens to paint pictures. This was great learning experience for all of us. We
went to the Mars Exposition and learned about space. As you see the white puffy
clouds out there, well just behind them were dark clouds. The rain drops
started so we ran to Turtle Talk with Crush which taught how reefs work and how
we can help. By the time we got out the storm was upon us. Alex became
invented. He got K a Disney bag to save her hair. You know Black women and the
hair issues. We took a quick run through the rain to go to ImageWorks. This was fun learning about sound, touch and feelings. There was a break in the storm so Lo and I went
back to the Hilton. Just as we got in the car it poured again. Oh well. Time to
find food. We hung out at the Olive Garden. Everybody and their mother was
there. I just they were getting away from Disney too. We decided to stay any
way, The hostess was nice. They were out of chargers to let us know when our
turn was. She said not to worry she would not forget us. Well, just like she
said she came and found us. I am telling this because sometimes businesses that
are full to capacity get a bad rap for not paying attention. Yeah Olive Garden.
Well
Campers, until next time.

I love that E rides on Lo's little car. Now, THAT is the way to travel...
