COOLING OFF AT THE POOL

Hey there Campers;

We awoke to a cooler slightly overcast day. I decided it was a good time to get my 5 miles of walking in. So I took off. It was a great walk. As I was walking down the dirt roads I was always aware that I am in OK not Cally so be aware of the snakey things. Thank God I have not seen any.

You know you are in the Bible Belt when the restaurants are only open from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sundays. They got to get the church folk fed. We were going to El Charro in Kingfisher but it was closed for vacation starting today. Thought about the Chinese Place, but Barbie's next door neighbors, John & Irene, said they were sick for 2 days after going there.  So that was scratched off our list. The only other place open was Pizza Hut. Well, most of ya'll know I am not a pizza fan. So we decided to go home and have a spaghetti, salad and fruit festival.

After lunch Barbie and I took Eli to the local swimming pool. This is a very nice pool center. Eli had a blast and cool off nicely. He really enjoyed the slide.

We came back and had dinner and watch the Pawn Stars on TV. Where do people get this junk to sell to the pawn shop? For some reason they all feel like they have something that can sell for a mint. Most walk off with little cash. Oh well some of us need our 15 minutes of fame. We call it a early night as we are leaving in the morning to the next adventure.
