A FINAL WALK ON THE BEACH

July 25

Hey there Campers;

Since this is our last day in Halifax, and we were in a hotel, we decided to sleep in. We won't pick up the Hilton until later this evening.

We decided to just drive around and enjoy the ocean.

We found a tribute to fisherman's on a wharf in Cole Harbour.

There was a walking path that lead to the bay and around the wharf. I was happy to see this as I was able to get some steps in.

The sights were great. The bridge and the city of Halifax were able to seen distance.

Even thought it was overcast, people still sunned and fished on the beach.

There was a lighthouse on an island.

I went window shopping since I had time to kill. I tell you I can wait until I get back to the states to by anything but food. The prices are just unreal.

We decided to have lunch on the harbor. When I asked the lady making our sandwich why was the cost a $1 more she stated that was the tax cost. She immediately said taxes were so high because they get free medical care. OK.

We picked up the Hilton and decided to spent the night and get a fresh start in the morning. I had to go to Costco one more time before leaving the area. OK. I know you hear angels singing again!!! Ok, it is probably just me who hears it.

We have had a great time and great memories in Halifax.

Well, until the next time Campers......
